Marching forward with The Masters of Photography

March has been a thoroughly exciting month for The Macallan in terms of The Masters of Photography. The momentum has been gathering at a tremendous speed.

Here on the blog cocktails and polls seem to have been the current theme with the competition. This was the month where we took the opportunity ask you what you thought about the voting process for The Masters of Photography competition via the 'Is 10 Enough?' poll. We were thrilled with the level of feedback and it was abundantly clear that you were all for increasing the shortlist from 10 to 20, so we reacted accordingly. You can view the current top 20 entries on the site. Thanks also for all your feedback to the format of the competition. We have taken note and will feed all your comments into the planning of our next project.

The middle of the month saw the launch of The Masters of Photography in Mexico. The event was an utter success. The Watson prints were well received and guests were treated to The Macallan on the rocks and a selection of cocktails.

The end of the month resulted in a combination of the cocktail and poll theme, when we featured a poll on this blog asking you which of the Intoxicologist's Masters of Photography cocktails you favoured. The Journey, which takes its name from the theme of the competition, is the clear winner.

Finally we'd just like to let you know that we are loving the conversations that we are having with you all on Facebook and Twitter. It's great to hear your thoughts and see your pictures. We'd like to take this opportunity to mention Ian Makay as our member of the month for March. He will be receiving a hip flask as a thank you from us for his great interaction.
