The Six Pillars
These foundational Six Pillars comprise Natural Colour, Mastery, Curiously Small Spirit Stills, The Estate, Exceptional Oak Casks and Sherry Wine. The Macallan M Collection acts as a prism into the world of The Macallan and features an array of colours, each embodying one of the brand’s unique attributes and reflecting the emotions that impel us forward.
The Macallan M is the embodiment of Natural Colour. It is the result of The Macallan’s commitment to craftsmanship and dedication to using the finest, 100% natural ingredients. The Macallan M was matured in a small number of hand-selected casks, and showcases The Macallan’s rich natural colour, proudly.
M Black offers a contrast and is the embodiment of The Macallan’s dedication to Mastery and unwavering trust in our craft. M Copper is an ode to the Curiously Small Spirit Stills that play an integral role in how we craft our precious spirit. It is a vibrant, elegant expression and reflects the authenticity which drives the brand and our dedication to innovation.
Our Six Pillars embody all that is unique to The Macallan, together underpinning the renowned quality and rich character of our whisky, and The Macallan M Collection tells the story of these unique attributes.
Jaume Ferras
We worked with renowned fashion photographer and creative visionary, Nick Knight, to create a series of photography and film in his abstract and expressionistic style. Knight’s imagery captures The Macallan M Collection in blocks of ice as an homage to our intrinsic connection to nature and the River Spey which runs through The Macallan Estate.
