THE MACALLAN EXPERIENCE AT RAFFLES SINGAPORE 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

General admission and booking of cinematic whisky experience at “The Macallan Experience at Raffles Hotel Singapore” will take place at The Macallan at Raffles Hotel Singapore site located at Raffles Arcade, 328 North Bridge Road, #01-04 to 10, Singapore 188719 (the “Space/Experience”), and is provided by Edrington Singapore Private Limited, registered number 201201699G, having its principal address at 12 Marina View, Asia Square Tower 2, Level 24-01, Singapore 018961 (the “Company”). 

All tickets to the Experience are processed and issued by Eventbrite, which has its own terms of service on its website to which you agree when using their service. All tickets are subjected to availability and acceptance by the Company. By ordering tickets, you agree, on your own behalf and as agent on behalf of all persons for whom you are purchasing tickets or who will be holding tickets purchased by you (you and each such person being a "Ticket Holder"), to abide by these Terms and Conditions ( “Terms”).  

The following terms, as well as any information contained in the booking form, and booking confirmation email provided to you, shall apply to your booking, attendance at and participation in the Experience. In the event of any inconsistency in their terms, the following order of precedence shall apply: (a) booking confirmation email; (b) these Terms; and (c) the booking form.

ONLINE BOOKINGS AND WEBSITE 

We will endeavour to ensure that the information displayed on the website www.themacallan.com/en-sg/the-macallan-experience is current and accurate. We reserve the right to make changes without prior notice and shall not be held liable for any errors. Use of the website is subjected to separate Terms of Use which can be found here. 

For Sensory Cinema: Once full payment is made, subject to availability, the Ticket Holder will be allocated a place/places for the selected session, and booking is only confirmed upon receipt of official email confirmation sent by Eventbrite. Entry to the Experience is strictly upon booking confirmation, and the Company is entitled to deny entry to anyone that does not have such booking confirmation. 

For General Admission (without Sensory Cinema): General admission is complimentary. Kindly be informed that, as entry is subjected to space availability and safe distancing measures, we cannot and do not guarantee entry at any particular time.  

We accept no responsibility for the incorrect input of email addresses and/or other contact information and personal data on our booking forms. Should you fail to receive an automatically generated booking confirmation email after making your booking, please contact us via email at [email protected]

It is the Ticket Holder’s responsibility to check the accuracy of all personal particulars, and the date and time of the session booked. 

By making a booking, you confirm and warrant that you are above the relevant legal drinking age in Singapore which is currently 18. Tickets can only be booked and sold to customers above this legal drinking age and we reserve the right to withhold selling and/or deny entry to the space of anyone whom we have reason to suspect is below such age limit.  

Any resale of tickets to the Experience is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to cancel any tickets including those that have been resold and to deny entry to any person whom we have reason to suspect has been involved in such resale activities. 

ADMISSION POLICY AND ATTENDANCE 

We reserve the right to conduct compliance checks to ensure that all visitors are of legal drinking age as well as for general health, safety and security reasons, and to deny entry to anyone whom we have reason to suspect is a minor and/or may pose a health, safety or security risk to other persons at the space. 

As part of Singapore’s on-going effort to combat Covid-19, kindly be informed that SafeEntry check-ins, temperature-taking and other mandatory measures (such as safe distancing) will be implemented. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, we also reserve the right to implement such other measures as we deem to be necessary and appropriate in order to comply with any laws or regulations that may be in force from time to time.  

For Sensory Cinema Ticket Holders: As the Sensory Cinema has scheduled screenings which will start strictly on time, latecomers will be denied entry into the Sensory Cinema and will not be entitled to any refunds or compensation. Guests are encouraged to arrive 5 minutes prior the scheduled session to facilitate SafeEntry check-ins, temperature-taking, and other relevant checks and measures. 

For General Admission Ticket Holders: Please be prepared for mandatory SafeEntry check-ins, temperature-taking, and other relevant checks and measures. 

We reserve the right to refuse admission into the Experience/Space, or Sensory Cinema, to anyone who does not undergo or fails any of the relevant checks. 

WALK-IN REGISTRATIONS 

While we endeavour to welcome walk-in visitors, please be informed that availability is on a first come first served basis and subjected to safe distancing measures. As the space has limited capacity, we cannot guarantee availability, and we retain discretion to stagger the times of entry and/or durations of stay as may be necessary of any and all visitors at the space. 

PRICING  

Sensory Cinema: Each Sensory Cinema ticket is priced at SGD28 inclusive of GST. We reserve the right to amend the price without prior notice. Each ticket includes admission and a cinematic whisky experience. There are strictly no concessions, exchanges or refunds, even if a visitor chooses to forfeit any of the experiences included in the ticket price. 

General Admissions: General admission is complimentary. Kindly be informed that entry is subjected to space availability and safe distancing measures. 

CANCELLATIONS, AMENDMENTS AND REFUNDS 

Tickets sold are non-refundable and non-transferable. If there are any unforeseen or extenuating circumstances resulting in us having to cancel, postpone, relocate or make any changes to the Experience,  including for any safety and/or public health reasons, we will notify you as soon as practicable. Please contact [email protected] for any and all requests relating to the Experience. We reserve the sole discretion to determine whether to entertain and respond to such requests, and for cases in which such requests are granted, Ticket Holders shall bear the costs of any processing fees for such refunds.

Whilst we will endeavour to have the Experience accessible and operational during the published opening hours, we reserve the right to close the space on any given day or part thereof, whether for security or any other reasons, without notice. 

VIP DINING PACKAGES 

Dining packages are curated and catered solely by Raffles Hotel Singapore and its affiliated restaurants. We will not be held responsible nor liable for any food-related incidents in connection with the Experience. 

PUBLIC LIABILITY 

You acknowledge and agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, regardless of the type of action, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, in no event will we or our affiliates, including, without limitation, our officers, directors, employees, successors and assigns, be liable to you or any other party for any direct or indirect loss, damage, cost, expense or liability of any kind ("loss") arising in any way out of or in connection with the Experience, including (without limitation) any indirect, special, exemplary, punitive, incidental or consequential loss.  

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these terms and conditions that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”). Our performance under these terms and conditions is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and we will have an extension of time for performance for the duration of that period. We will use our reasonable endeavours to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under these terms and conditions may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.

VISITOR CONDUCT 

All visitors must observe the following: 

  • Dress code: Smart casual (Slippers and shorts strictly not allowed) 
  • No smoking other than in the designated areas of the premise 
  • No pets or animals 

We reserve the right to request any visitor to leave the premise if their behaviour is considered likely to cause offence, put staff or other visitors at risk or create a nuisance to other visitors or staff. In such scenarios, we regret to inform that there will be no refunds for tickets purchased. 

Kindly note that you may be subject to other rules set by the venue, Raffles Hotel Singapore. You agree and acknowledge that you shall remain responsible for adhering to all such regulations, including but not limited to any visitor code of conduct, dress code and/or safe distancing requirements as may be imposed by the Raffles Hotel from time to time. 

SECURITY 

You must ensure that you have photographic identification with you during the visit. If you are unable to provide identification which matches your ticket, we have the right to require you to leave the Experience.  

In the interests of safety, visitors may be asked to submit to a search of their person or belongings and anyone refusing to submit or found to be in possession of materials believed by us to be dangerous, illegal or unsuitable will be denied entry, have the relevant item(s) confiscated, and/or removed from the space. 

We would ask all visitors to remain vigilant and report anything they find suspicious to a member of staff. 

PHOTOGRAPHY 

Photography and video recording are allowed within the Space/Experience. However, we respectfully ask that visitors avoid the use of flash photography in the Sensory Cinema. 

You agree to being filmed, photographed, referenced and recorded for television, radio, webcast, social media and in any other medium, including written format and/or by any CCTV cameras and recordings operated by or on behalf of and made by or on behalf of us, and agree to waive any rights arising under the laws of any jurisdiction. You grant to us an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to make such use of your name, voice, biography and likeness in any media and any recording, filming or photography of the Experience as we reasonably require in connection with the exploitation, advertising and promotion of the Experience. 

All rights in all materials published or otherwise made available as part of the Experience (including but not limited to any audio or audio-visual recording of the Experience) (“Content”) is owned by us or is included with the permission of the owner of the rights. No (i) photography, filming or recording; or (ii) republication, broadcast or other dissemination of the Content is permitted without our prior written approval.  

ACCESSIBILITY 

We hope that all visitors enjoy their experience with us. If you require any mobility assistance or have any special requirements, please contact us in advance of your visit by email [email protected]. We will endeavour to ensure you receive the best possible experience. 

Limited parking spaces are available within Raffles Hotel Singapore. We respectfully request all visitors to refrain from driving when alcohol is consumed.  

GENERAL 

We reserve the right to refuse to process a transaction or booking for any reason. 

If any of these Terms is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the other provisions of these Terms and the remainder of the provision in question will not be affected. 

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. 

We have the right to revise and amend these Terms from time to time to reflect, amongst other things, changes in market conditions affecting our business, changes in technology or systems used, changes in payment methods, and changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements. Subject to applicable law, you will be subject to the Terms as they are in force at the time of your booking. 

QUERIES AND COMPLAINTS 

If you have any queries or wish to make a formal complaint, please approach and inform any of our staff. If a matter cannot be resolved at the Experience itself, we may ask you to submit your query or complaint in writing to [email protected]. We will endeavour to respond to you within 14 days, and to investigate your query or complaint as soon as is reasonably possible.
