200 years of The Macallan depicted in a limited-edition, poetry book written by Jenni Fagan, illustrated by Javi Aznarez. With only 1,000 available, this book is protected by a hand-crafted oak wooden case and includes a hand-signed art print.
The celebratory illustrated book brings to life the heritage, ethos, character and great moments that have made The Macallan what it is today. A voyage through time where the past can be visited, the future can be glimpsed, and travelling back and forth between the two is possible while taking time to pause in the present celebration.

Taking 200 stories from our past as inspiration to create a piece of art that will take us on a journey through time. The book includes everything from small footnote illustrations to beautifully crafted double page spreads, each season with its own distinctive colour palette inspired by the nature of Easter Elchies across the year.
A story told through the seasons, starting in Autumn - the origin of everything, where the seeds are planted, and ending in Summer - a time to celebrate, to reap the rewards of the year.

The poet and the illustrator
Written by Jenni Fagan, an award-winning Scottish novelist, poet and screenwriter. Art by Javi Aznarez, a celebrated Spanish artist, painter and illustrator, who after collaborating with The Macallan on Red Collection, returns to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the brand.
The Materials
Printed in Paris by Imprimerie du Marais on paper sourced from managed sustainable forests, the book has been elegantly crafted in recycled leather. The bookcase has been hand-crafted in Spain by Marc Morro, using sustainably sourced European and American oak. Each case is entirely unique. As a limited-edition piece, only 1,000 are available globally.
