    Distil Your World Paris

A whisky inspired by the rich heritage of the Parisian restaurant culture.

This whisky embodies the culture and cuisine that makes Paris so unique. A symphony of flavours with creamy sweetness and perfumed notes delivered by sherry seasoned American oak casks, with further fragrance, tropical and toasted notes from casks that previously held Bourbon. A touch of depth and soft spices introduced through sherry seasoned European oak casks, balanced with rich aromatics from Cognac casks.

A Whisky That Distils The Essence Of Paris Into A Remarkable Sense Of Place

The Macallan Master Whisky Maker, Kirsteen Campbell, and the Roca brothers, of El Celler de Can Roca, twice named World’s Best Restaurant in the world, went in search of the essence of the capital of cuisine. Paris, known for its rich culinary history, is world-renowned for its chefs and restaurants. The experience inspired them to translate the spirit of Paris into a unique single malt whisky and an extraordinary menu.

The result is an exquisite single malt with unmistakable Parisian charm: sandalwood and gentle spices recall the perfumeries, buttery hints of baguette and brioche evoke the bakeries, and a cosmopolitan elegance emerges from sherry seasoned European oak casks and sherry seasoned American oak casks.

“L'Art de la Table” – Where Timeless Tradition Meets Innovation

Distil Your World Paris, the documentary, captures the meticulous craft behind distilling a city into a whisky and a menu, inspired by the origin of Parisian gastronomy, “l’art de la table” and “l’art de vivre”.

Anne-Sophie Pic, the celebrated French chef who currently holds 8 Michelin stars welcomed Kirsteen Campbell and Joan Roca to the city to explore the quality, commitment to excellent and effortless elegance that defines French cuisine.

Paris is celebrated for “l’art de vivre” around gastronomy, where every detail matters: from the finest ingredients and impeccable service to the atmosphere, tableware, and etiquette.

At the heart of its hospitality lies “l’art de la table”: a refined expression of dining that weaves together every element of a meal.

Paris embodies this art: the table as a canvas for cultural expression. Deeply intertwined with French culinary heritage, it honours the ritual, aesthetics, and etiquette of dining. It is about respect for food, for drinks, for guests, and for the shared moment.

“This whisky is a deeply personal creation, inspired by my time in Paris with Joan Roca and Anne-Sophie Pic. Paris embodies elegance, passion, and sophistication, and I embraced the challenging yet beautiful task of distilling its very soul - an essence that one day can be savoured in a glass.”
"In this whisky, Parisian bread and patisserie take centre stage, but for a whisky maker, the selection of casks is essential to crafting layers of flavour. Led by American sherry seasoned casks, with European sherry and ex bourbon, the addition of Cognac casks lends this whisky an unmistakably Parisian accent - a tribute to the city's timeless allure and art de vivre."

To accompany the whisky, Paris-based artist, Cassandre Montoriol, acclaimed for her distinctive Gouache illustrative style has created a piece to capture the essence of the city.

“This illustration is a tribute to the very first Parisian restaurant, which opened in 1765 and marked the beginning of dining as an art form. Inspired by that historic time, I have imagined a lively table d’hote scene set on a quintessentially Parisian street at night, bathed in the warm glow of orange evening lights.”
