The Macallan ballots offer a first option to buy some of our most highly sought-after new single malt whisky releases. Entries into each ballot are restricted to one per person to provide customers with a fair chance to buy the product.&nbsp;&nbsp;You can log in to your account and enter the ballot through your <a href="https://www.themacallan.com/en/the-macallan-society/sign-in">Macallan Account Dashboard</a>. The ballot is typically open for one week and when it closes there is an automated selection process. Successful entrants are notified by email and then automatically charged to their specified payment method.&nbsp;&nbsp;

What are The Macallan Ballots? 

You can join <a href="https://www.themacallan.com/en/the-macallan-society">The Macallan Society</a> to be kept up to date on future ballots to give you priority access to select whisky releases. As a member, you will also receive information about our distillery, our whiskies and our people and will receive news on exclusive experiences. In addition, you will be able to access My Macallan Journey, special recommendations and content tailored for you.&nbsp;

How can I stay informed about future ballots?

The Macallan Ballot is available to the UK and Channel Islands, and selected EU countries, and can be entered via our account dashboard.&nbsp;We currently ship to: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Switzerland, the UK and the Channel Islands.For more information, please visit the <a href="https://www.themacallan.com/en/delivery-information">Delivery Information page</a>. If a product is unavailable for delivery to your country it will be removed from your basket.

Which countries can I enter the ballot from?

If you change your mind before the ballot has closed, you can cancel your entry through your <a href="https://www.themacallan.com/en/macallan-society/my-account">Macallan Account Dashboard</a> before the ballot closes.&nbsp; If you change your mind once the ballot has closed, please <a href="https://www.themacallan.com/en/support/contact-us">contact us.</a>

What if I change my mind after entering the ballot, can I cancel my entry?

For ballot products consumers will only be eligible to buy a maximum number of bottles per person, per order or per household. The Macallan reserves the right to cancel orders if subsequent verification identifies that a consumer has bought more than the maximum number of bottles available for purchase by one person.&nbsp;&nbsp;In submitting an entry to a Ballot, Entrants confirm that if they are successfully selected by The Macallan, they are able and willing to complete the purchase of the Product.&nbsp;Entrants must provide valid payment card details before submitting their entry to the ballot, through their Account. The entrant’s card will be pre-authorised to confirm it is a valid card with correct details. The entrant’s card will not be charged at this time. Entrants warrant and undertake to ensure that their payment card has sufficient funds to pay for the Product on conclusion of the ballot if their entry is selected (including any delivery fee and variance by delivery country as set out upon entry into the ballot). The entrant must further ensure that their payment card shall not have expired at the point at which payment is taken.&nbsp;&nbsp;Within 3 working days after the Ballot has been drawn, the Entrants shall be notified by email if they have been successful. If the Entrants are successful, payment shall be taken immediately upon an entry being drawn. Entrants are advised that ‘Mail Marketing’ will appear on bank statements once payment is taken. In the event that payment fails, The Macallan shall contact entrants to ask them to provide an alternative payment method.&nbsp;The total fee payable shall include a postage fee based on the Entrant’s country of delivery. Deliveries will be made by DHL. The fees charged directly by The Macallan may not include all taxes or duties that could be charged on arrival in your country of delivery. You are personally liable for the payment of any additional charges applicable in your country. See full delivery information <a href="https://www.themacallan.com/en/delivery-information">here</a>.&nbsp;Ballots are considered stand-alone purchases and no further products from The Macallan’s online shop can be added to the order that includes the Product from the Ballot.&nbsp;&nbsp;We will be unable to process any ballots of entrants who get in touch on behalf of the account owners. What are the ballot terms and conditions of sale? 

We aim to inform entrants of if they are successful or unsuccessful by email by mid-March.

When will I be notified if I am successful or unsuccessful for the Diamonds Are Forever 55th Anniversary Release Ballot?

I didn't receive an email confirmation, what do I do?

PAYMENT AND DELIVERY

If you have been successful in the ballot, payment will be taken from your account up to 7 days after you have received your confirmation of success. We recommend checking your emails regularly, as if the payment has been unsuccessful, we will email you a link to complete your purchase with an alternative payment card. This link will be valid for 48 hours, after which time, the whisky will be released to the next successful entrant in the ballot. &nbsp;

What are your Payment Timescales? 

The Macallan Diamonds Are Forever 55th Anniversary Release can take up to 10 days to be delivered after payment has been taken. As soon as your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email from us which will include your tracking number from our delivery partner. Once your order has been dispatched, the delivery times are as follows:&nbsp;UK &amp; Channel Islands: Delivery will take 1-5 working days after you have received your dispatch notification.&nbsp;&nbsp;Europe: Delivery will take up to 10 days after you have received your dispatch notification.&nbsp;You can check the progress of your delivery with the tracking number provided in your dispatch notification.&nbsp;&nbsp;

What are your dispatch and delivery times for The Macallan Diamonds Are Forever 55th Anniversary Release?

Yes, you can still enter the ballot. However, your specified delivery address needs to be in UK or the selected countries we deliver to.&nbsp;We currently ship to: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Switzerland, the UK and the Channel Islands.

I do not live in one of the countries you deliver to, can I still enter the ballot? 

To change your shipping or payment details after you have entered you will need to cancel your entry and re-enter using your updated details. You can add your updated details in your <a href="https://www.themacallan.com/en/macallan-society/my-account/profile">account settings</a> before re-entering.

Can I change my shipping and payment details once I have entered?

If you are successful in the ballot, your payment card will automatically be charged. If this fails, we will send you a payment link via email which will be valid for 48 hours to complete your purchase. After this time, the whisky will be released to the next person in the ballot.&nbsp;&nbsp;Due to the limited nature of ballot releases, all purchases must be completed within 48 hours.
