The Macallan Distillery
Designed by internationally acclaimed architects, Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, our Distillery sits at the heart of The Macallan Estate, just 400m from our previous distillery, it sits alongside our Spiritual Home, Easter Elchies House.

3.5 YEARS
The project took three years and six months to complete (Dec 2014 – May 2018)

The roof is one of the most complicated timber structures in the world, comprising 1,800 single beams, 2,500 different roof elements, and 380,000 individual components

This guiding principle of sustainability informed the design and build of our Distillery to lessen its impact on the environment and, for this work and our ongoing actions and commitments, The Macallan Estate is proud to have achieved Green Tourism Gold accreditation.
