Elliott Erwitt comes to London to unveil his Great Scottish Adventure
The Macallan Masters of Photography: Elliott Erwitt Edition UK launch
Hidden along the cobbles of Bruton Place in the heart of London’s Mayfair, among the capitals most exclusive shops, hotels and restaurants The Macallan Masters of Photography: Elliott Erwitt Edition was unveiled in the Leica Studio – S.
The UK launch saw London’s movers and shakers from the photography, whisky and design scene flock to the studio for the exclusive viewing of Elliott Erwitt’s 58 prints captured on his Great Scottish Adventure.
Guests fawned over handmade glass flask which beholds one of 58 unique single cask whiskies as well as the archival book which perfectly encases this special bottling.
With a welcome from The Macallan’s Jaume Ferras and Elliott himself, guests were treated to a tasting of five of the 58 exclusive whiskies and asked to discover the print their whisky was paired with.
Selected by our Whisky Maker Bob Dalgarno each single malt interprets the very essence of the photograph it is matched with.
The Macallan Gold ‘n’ Soda and ‘The Elliott’ cocktails were served throughout the evening along with Scottish inspired canapés, bringing to life The Macallan and our homeland. Why not bring a bit of Speyside to your home and recreate these delicious cocktails:
