From the Cask
Our reputation for the extraordinary is characterised by the exceptional oak casks for which The Macallan is renowned. Sourced, crafted, toasted and seasoned under the watchful eye of the Master of Wood, the hand-picked casks are delivered to the demanding specifications of the Whisky Mastery Team. It is the oak that makes the greatest contribution to the quality, natural colour and distinctive aromas and flavours at the heart of this single malt whisky.
Once filled, the maturing spirit remains undisturbed in the same casks for the necessary number of years it needs to be worthy of its destined Macallan expression. It is these oak casks that make the greatest contribution to the quality, natural colour and distinctive aromas and flavours which lie at the heart of The Macallan single malt.

25 Years Old Ice Ball
Inspired by Japanese cocktail culture, where bartenders hand-carve ice balls to create sculpted spheres that melt slowly, The Macallan Ice Ball brings together magic, theatre and artistry to deliver a perfect serve.
The ice ball melts slowly to chill your whisky whilst releasing less water, preserving the integrity of this single malt and its intense and rich character from start to finish.

Sherry Oak 25 Years Old Ritual
Sipping Sherry Oak 25 Years old neat allows it to coat the palate with its depth of flavours - which are then intensified by the citrus notes from the olives and the intensity of the Jamon. Take a piece of Iberico followed by nosing and sipping the whisky and finish with an olive - the salty bonus of the meat opens the palate, the whisky glides over the tongue soaking up the meaty flavours leaving the freshness of the olive to round off the palate.
