Photographer Erik Madigan Heck has presented his visual interpretation of Double Cask 12 Years Old inspired by classic, Flemish still life paintings of the 17th century.

Notes of candied lemon citrus and smooth fudge are just two of the defining flavours of The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old.
Looking closely, subtle hints of vanilla can be seen in the still life, with the two-tone purple chiffon fabric a nod to the marriage of American and European oak sherry seasoned casks, the defining feature of the Double Cask collection.

In 2011, Erik was awarded the renowned '30 Under 30' award by Forbes Magazine. He also received the prestigious ICP Affinity Award in 2013, the Art Directors Club's Gold Medal in 2015 and the AI-IP American Photography award for his Old Masters Portfolio, published by The New York Times Magazine.
