You might enter this sandwich shop expecting to enjoy a classic pastrami on rye, but hidden behind an unassuming fridge door is the entrance to Paradiso, one of Barcelona's best clandestine cocktail bars. Behind the concept is Giacomo Giannotti, master mixologist and globally renowned for his exquisite cocktail creations.
WALKING IN SPEYSIDE
Within the bar, elevated service goes hand in hand with one-of a-kind experiences. A cocktail recently created by Giacomo is inspired by the wild hills of Speyside, home of The Macallan.
The unique aromas and flavours of the Scottish Highlands are expressed through smooth notes of The Macallan Double Cask, united with elements including pine liquor, Ximenez, the bittersweet orange tones of Amer Picón, and Peychoud's Bitters. The cocktail is presented with a pinecone lit to release smoky pine aromas.
