Celebrating the Clootie Dumpling, a traditional Scottish cake enjoyed during the Festive Season.
First appearing in a recipe book in 1747, we’ve taken inspiration from the flavours of this relic from times past. Bringing together the dried fruits and spices, twisting them into an old fashioned styled cocktail.
MAKE THE SERVES
Step 1
Add to mixing glass:
20ml cinnamon, juniper, and star anise syrup
Couple dashes of orange bitters and Angostura bitters
50ml The Macallan Lumina
Step 2
Fill mixing glass with ice then stir for 20 seconds
Step 3
Single strain into rocks glass over ice
Garnish with a dehydrated plum slice
