An elegant and playful ritual, inspired by the iconic glamour of the Diamonds Are Forever movie. The red wine flavoured diamond is a tribute to the unique cask make-up and distinctive tasting notes of the whisky.
Make The Whisky Ritual
Step 1
Pour 100ml of red wine into a saucepan and dissolve the 0.8% agar agar. Bring to the boil, then turn off the heat.
Step 2
Add the gelatine and stir until fully dissolved. Pour into diamond shaped moulds and leave to cool at room temperature for at least 10 minutes, then refrigerate for at least one hour.
Step 3
Use tongs to gently place the gelatine diamond into a cocktail glass. Add 50ml of The Macallan Diamonds Are Forever 55th Anniversary Release to the glass and swirl so the whisky interacts with the flavoured jelly.
