The Macallan Classic Cut - 2024 Edition has been bottled at 52.4% ABV and features notes of vanilla, tropical fruit and lemon.
A multisensory myriad of dynamic and evolving flavours are unveiled with the addition of water, unlocking the doors within the Classic Cut universe. This whisky is anything but classic.

This exceptional single malt has been matured in a combination of sherry seasoned European and American oak, and ex-bourbon casks.
On the nose are notes of rich vanilla, citrus peel and sweet oak, before baked custard, sweet green apple and vanilla are unveiled on the palate.

Each edition in the Classic Cut series is bottled at the Whisky Maker’s preferred strength to reveal a unique character and flavour.
In the 2024 Edition, the prominent character of the whisky is rich vanilla at full strength of 52.4%.
When water is added and the strength is reduced to 40%, tropical fruit and lemon flavours step forward.

Once filled, the maturing spirit remains undisturbed in the same casks for the necessary number of years it needs to be worthy of its destined expression of The Macallan. It is the oak that makes the greatest contribution to the quality, natural colour and distinctive aromas and flavours at the heart of this single malt whisky.
