The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old is characterised by the perfect combination of European and American oak casks, seasoned with sherry wine in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain.

Double Cask 12 Years Old

The Macallan Double Cask 15 Years Old is a balanced single malt whisky created by bringing the perfect harmony of two oaks into one exceptional spirit.This whisky ensures the vanilla and lighter notes found in sherry seasoned American oak are allowed to shine, whilst balance is found in notes imparted from sherry seasoned European oak bringing a rich complexity.

The Macallan Double Cask 15 Years Old is a balanced <a href="https://themacallan.com/en-us/single-malt-scotch-whisky">single malt whisky</a> created by bringing the perfect harmony of two oaks into one exceptional single malt whisky. Sherry seasoned American oak adds delicate vanilla to the subtle spice of European oak, delivering a whisky with a sweeter, warmer taste and character.

A golden butterscotch colour and warm, harmonious character. 

A limited annual release, The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old has been matured for a minimum of 18 years on The Macallan Estate in predominantly sherry seasoned European oak casks from Jerez, Spain.
