The Macallan Distil Your World Mexico

The Macallan has released Distil Your World Mexico, an exceptional single malt whisky and documentary film which captures a sensorial journey through one of the country’s most vibrant celebrations – the Day of the Dead festival.

Crafted by The Macallan Whisky Maker Diane Stuart in collaboration with the Roca brothers, owners of El Celler de Can Roca, twice named Best Restaurant in the World, Distil Your World Mexico reflects the energy, colour, spirit and traditions at the heart of this joyful celebration.  

Distil Your World Mexico marks the latest release in the series of limited edition whiskies and gastronomic creations exploring leading locations around the globe.

To uncover the mastery behind Mexico’s dynamic celebration of life, Diane and Joan Roca travelled to Mexico City to spend time with the people who encapsulate the traditions, craftmanship and artistic nature of the dynamic Day of the Dead festival. 

Their journey and experiences will be showcased through captivating key visuals and in a new 30-minute documentary film.
