The Macallan celebrates with Exclusive Gastronomic Experience in Girona

The specially designed menu, inspired by the concept of time, captured the rich history of The Macallan, incorporating ancient and forgotten culinary techniques that the restaurant has rediscovered and reinvented, resulting in a truly unique menu unlike any previously offered. Twice named Best Restaurant in the World, the venue provided the perfect setting for a celebration steeped in excellence and innovation, with distinguished guests enjoying a unique culinary journey through time embracing 200 years of history, curated by Joan, Josep and Jordi Roca.

Each dish served as a chapter in an immersive narrative exploring the 200 year legacy of the iconic single malt whisky brand, with the unforgettable dining experience including A Stroll Around Easter Elchies, a dish designed in the shape of The Macallan’s Distillery, including a gastronomic impression of its sweeping living meadow rooftop; ‘Spice Caravan’ Duck, a lacquered smoked duck presented in an exceptional oak cask dome, inspired by the heat and smoke which are integral to the cask-making process; and Colour The Macallan, a dessert that celebrates the red hue of The Macallan through the fermentation of cocoa beans, producing intense futuristic flavours of cocoa, spices and candied fruit.
