Dieser außergewöhnliche Single Malt Whisky reift in überwiegend mit Sherry gewürzten europäischen Eichenfässern und hat ausgeprägte Geschmacksnoten von Ingwer, getrockneten Früchten und Gewürzen.
In der Nase getrocknete Früchte, kandierte Zitrusschalen und Eiche mit Noten von Ingwer und Muskatnuss. Am Gaumen Rosinen und Sultaninen mit Ingwersirup, die süßen Zimtgewürzen und einem Hauch von Vanille weichen. Der Abgang ist lang mit Eiche und wärmendem Ingwer.

Each single malt is characterised by natural mahogany hues and interlocking notes of succulent dried fruits and ginger, with a depth of flavour and wood spice that intensifies through the range.
The Macallan reimagined is seen through the lens of artistic translator, David Carson, and celebrates the journey of our sherry seasoned oak casks.
Geschichten hinter dem Kunstwerk
Wir haben eine tiefe Liebe für den Fluss Spey, der durch unser Anwesen fließt und die natürliche Schönheit des Geburtsortes von The Macallan und der umliegenden Landschaft bereichert.
Als stolze Hüter eines 1,5 Meilen langen Abschnitts setzen wir uns dafür ein, seine unberührten Gewässer zu erhalten und die vielfältige Tierwelt zu schützen, die er unterstützt. Dazu gehören über 400 Baumarten und mehr als 70 Arten von Wildtieren, Vögeln und Fischen, darunter sieben europäische geschützte Arten wie rote Eichhörnchen, Dachse, Fischotter, Mauersegler und Baummarder.
Dieses Kunstwerk ist eine Hommage an den Fluss Spey, der in drei Formen dargestellt wird, wobei der 12-Jährige eine Erweiterung einer darstellt. Ein tiefer, warmer roter Hintergrund fügt sich nahtlos in die Farbpalette und den charakteristischen Geschmack der Sherry Oak Collection ein.
Handgezeichnete Linien von David Carson stellen das Muster, die Hügel, den River Spey und den Umriss der Destillerie dar, und der Hauch von Grün deutet die Landschaft von The Macallan an.

Meet David Carson
We have partnered with David Carson across The Macallan Timeless Collections. We asked him to go beyond the world of digital design and work with his hands again, using paper, paint and elements from nature, making each art piece unique and unrepeatable. His unconventional and incomparable style characterised by freedom spreads, overlapping photos, mixed and altered fonts and a total rejection of the grid brought him worldwide acclaim and transformed the design industry forever. He remains to this day resolutely grid free, unrivalled in his creativity and devoted to his craft.
Sherry Seasoned Excellence
The Macallan’s exceptional European and American oak casks spend time in our Spanish bodegas during which time they are filled with sherry wine to season them.
Over the coming months, sherry wine gently rests within the exceptional oak casks. These sherry seasoned oak casks are then emptied, and transported to our Distillery here in Speyside, Scotland. Upon arrival at The Macallan Estate, these exceptional sherry seasoned oak casks are filled with our robust and fruity new make spirit.
Over years our whiskies will mature, drawing aromas, flavour and natural colour from these sherry seasoned oak casks. An exceptional story of sherry and wood.
