    1926 年，第 263 號雪莉橡木桶於蘇格蘭斯佩賽（Speyside）注入麥卡倫新酒。 經過 60 年熟成來到 1986 年，麥卡倫釀酒團隊認為這桶風味優異的威士忌已經達到完美成熟的階段，決定將其裝瓶，僅僅產出 40 瓶極為珍稀的威士忌。
