Sherry Oak 18 Years Old
The epitome of The Macallan excellence and mastery in whisky making. This spirit is carefully matured for a minimum of 18 years in predominantly sherry seasoned European oak casks and released annually, transforming the new make spirit into an exceptional whisky with notes of ginger, dates and dark chocolate.

Stories Behind the Artwork
Easter Elchies House, a traditional Highland manor, is more than just a piece of history on a stretch of land in Speyside. Situated at the heart of the Estate, high on a hillside overlooking the River Spey, it serves as the spiritual home of The Macallan.
The deep respect for nature and strong sense of community that define The Macallan live on today, which is why the Easter Elchies House logo is proudly featured on each bottle label.

An unexpected text composition stretches from the upper right to the centre bottom, with a white patch highlighting the age statement. The repetition of 18 represents sleeping casks, and the touch of white is a nod to American Oak.

Each of the four single malts in the Sherry Oak Collection is perfectly led by sherry seasoned European oak casks which interact with robust new make spirit from our Curiously Small Stills at The Macallan.
Matured respectively for 12, 18, 25 or 30 years on our 485-acres of The Macallan Estate, in the heart of Speyside, Scotland.
