Sherry Oak 30 Years Old
The oldest expression in the Sherry Oak Collection, this distinguished single malt has been extensively matured in predominantly sherry seasoned European oak casks and is released annually in small, carefully curated batches. For three decades, The Macallan new make spirit is transformed into a single malt whisky of exceptional richness and complexity, revealing notes of wood spice, stem ginger, and orange.

Stories Behind the Artwork
For the Sherry Oak 30 Years Old artwork, a deep red frame surrounds an image of one of The Macallan warehouses shrouded in darkness. The 3 and 0 are positioned to evoke lips reaching the rim of a glass. The icons for Sherry Seasoning and Exceptional Oak Casks also form the age statement. A stack of casks in a dark warehouse contrasts with bold reds, while the dark background represents the darkness of the warehouse as whisky matures.
The journey of our whisky's colour begins in the cathedral-like bodegas of Jerez, where our casks rest for months, absorbing their rich sherry seasoning. Once filled with The Macallan’s new make spirit, these seasoned casks begin “the long sleep”, maturing for years in the cool darkness of our warehouses at The Macallan Estate.
Here, in complete darkness, the spirit slowly evolves, infusing the colours and flavours of the sherry seasoned oak that define the unmistakable character of The Macallan.

Each of the four single malts in the Sherry Oak Collection is perfectly led by sherry seasoned European oak casks which interact with robust new make spirit from our Curiously Small Stills at The Macallan.
Matured respectively for 12, 18, 25 or 30 years on our 485-acres of The Macallan Estate, in the heart of Speyside, Scotland.

麥卡倫最高品質橡木桶在我們的西班牙酒莊中存放，在此期間，我們也會為其注入頂級雪莉酒進行潤桶。
